HOW MANY METERS TO CHOOSE?
It depends on where you want to hang your silks:
Calculate how far from the ground your anchor point is and multiply it by two and add one or two meters that will remain on the ground (the silks does not have to be flush with the floor).
Example:
I intend to hang it on a *house beam which is 2 meters above the ground
2m*2= 4m + 1m = 5 meters
I need it for my garden, in fact I have a self-supporting structure/*tree 5 meters high from the ground
5m*2= 10m + 2m = 12 metres
I need it for my gym which has an *anchor at a height of 7 meters
7m*2= 14m + 2m = 16 meters
*= Avoid DIY, rely on professionals to find out how to create an anchor point and/or if the anchor point you want to use can withstand all the stresses it will be subjected to
WHAT IS A BIG 8 AND THE SWIVEL?, SHOULD I BUY IT/S?:
The big 8 is a special hook that will allow you to tie your silks safely to your anchor point.
Here's how to whip it into your silks: CLICK
THE carabiners that can be purchased combined in this article are snap hooks with automatic closure in stainless steel
The Swivel it is a hook that allows the silks to turn freely without rolling up on itself, it is essential if you perform rotation / spin movements, if you are an expert or intend to become one, it cannot be missing on your silks.
NB: The Swivel is sold together with 2 carabiners to allow its use
WHERE WILL I FIND THE CERTIFICATION?:
Your certification will be printed and sent with the silks, also a serial number on a silks label will be found in the margin of your silks.
MAINTENANCE:
Keep your silks at an adequate temperature and humidity, away from sharp objects or chemical products that could damage the fibers. You can wash your silks at a temperature of 30° remembering to melt them from a possible Big 8 and relative carabiner or any textile slings/rings.
BEFORE EACH USE:
Check that it has not been damaged during the last use, even a small hole will affect the maximum weight it can support.
Check that your Big 8 has not "hooked" your silks as it could puncture
Remove earrings, necklaces, pendants, piercings or anything else that could pierce your silks.
